All EU Customers

The UK has now left the European Union. This may mean there are duties to pay upon receipt of your items if your delivery address is in the European Union.

This will vary between countries, so it is important that you check what fees may be payable for the  destination country before ordering to avoid any unexpected charges.

The buyer is responsible for any customs/import charges that may apply with the importing country.

Refunds and Returns

I know you will be happy with your purchase, but I do understand that you are buying an item that you have not been able to try on. If you decide that the item is not right for you then you have the option to return it and I will refund you.

Laurel Lime is compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which provides a 14 day no quibble guarantee on ‘Ready to wear’ items. Your right to cancel the agreement ends 14 days after receipt of the goods.

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ‘Bespoke or Customised Items’ where the supply of goods are made to the consumer’s own specification covered under ITEMS PERSONALISED TO CONSUMER SPECIFICATION (pursuant to Regulation 13(1)(c) of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) Act 2000).

As such, I am unable to accept returns on bespoke/customised items that are not faulty or do not meet requirements.

Sale of Earrings

Please take care not to remove the hygiene seal if earrings need to be returned. I cannot accept returns if the seal is broken.

If you need to return

The consumer has a statutory duty to take reasonable care of goods while they are in their possession, and return items with their original packaging.

I advise that items being returned are sent via special delivery to ensure safe receipt, and insurance for the consumer.

The consumer bears the cost of postage for returns, unless items are faulty, damaged or wrong goods sent. Refunds will be made within 30 days.

Force Majeure

Events outside Laurel Lime’s control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that Laurel Lime is released from obligations to fulfill contractual agreements.

Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers.

The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, bans, etc.

I do not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions contained in my website.

If an error is discovered in the price of goods that you have ordered, I will inform you as soon as possible. I shall be under no obligation to fulfill an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price.
